Scott Laird is available for performances in the Triangle Area (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, NC and surrounding areas) and beyond. He is available to perform as a solo jazz or pop artist on electric violin for receptions and other events. This performance format as a solo electric violinist really must be experienced to fully understand. He has been delighting audiences in restaurants and bars around the Raleigh/Durham area for the past 5 years. His repertoire includes music from his two solo releases, "Freeway" and "Simple Gifts," as well as a wide range of pop and rock covers from artists such as James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Police, The Who, Jimmy Buffett, Hootie and the Blowfish, and many, many others. He also regularly works with pianist, Dave Stuntz as part of a Duo and also has a full band for events that call for a larger format.
